WELCOME!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Tune in Tuesday!

Creators: Megan McGee (Megan McGee Photography) and Amber Halliburton (Amber Rena Photography)

What we're all about:

Because everyone loves photography and music, we decided to create a little project between ourselves over the next 12 weeks! Each week...we will randomly select a song title by using a Pandora station of our liking and go with the first that appears. We then must capture something using our cameras and creativity that goes along with the song title...a very difficult thing to do for certain songs! (Not gonna lie!) Every Tuesday we will show the world what our eyes, minds, and cameras have captured :)

It is very important for photographers to not get too caught up in their busy schedules...we need to take some time and snap some images just for ourselves! Having a themed picture hunt intensifies the challenge, but we hope to grow through this journey together and become better at what we LOVE to do!

Hope everyone enjoys our little photography project and please remember to comment below our weekly posts, we love to hear what you think!

Week 5 "Swing, Swing" by All-American Rejects

Hey everyone! It's Amber...Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family, friends,
good food, and laughter!!

It's Week 5 or our project! Hope you all enjoy what Meg and I have come up with.

In my picture, the focus is on the chain...it represents holding onto your childhood memories. We all know that memory is a way of holding onto the things that you love, the things that you are, the things that you never want to lose...BUT we get so carried away in our "grown-up lives" sometimes that we forget to hold onto your inner child and just have fun!

Next is Meg's picture...which I love! (The coloring is just perfect!!)
Here is what she had to say, "I chose this picture because of the title, and the happiness we feel when we get on the swing and just swing. All those memories of being a child come floating back to us as we kick out our legs to get higher and higher and let the world just pass us by."

Thanks for visiting us this week! Stay tuned for next weeks blog post!
See you then!

Week 4 "Something More" by Sugarland

Hey ya'all!! Meg here.. its Tuesday, so time for our weekly song and some great pictures!!

Our song this week was "Something More" by Sugarland :)

First picture is mine.
As I was drinking my morning coffee and reading one of my Fav catalog's that came in the mail this week. I had to get up to get my son and when I returned I had noticed I had put my coffee down on one of the pages I was looking at. There was my picture, funny how things happen. I loved how it turned out, the softness of the bed surrounded by big pillows and different textures surround the bed and my yummy caramel macchiato coffee.. it was almost like I was there.
My picture goes more along with the lyric's of the song.. so make sure you go and listen to it :)

Second picture is Am's.. (Awesome.. loovvee it!!)
This is what she had to say..
"I chose this picture simply for the beauty of pregnancy. The fact that you are about to add "Something More" into your life and have a family...it just spoke to me :) I had it narrowed down to this one and another picture....I chose this for the reds and the circles that we both have going on in the pictures!

Great minds think alike, huh??!!

Check out the song and video!!

Week 2 "Gonna Get Over You" by Sara Barielles

Hey guys! Amber here....Welcome to Week 2 of Tune In Tuesday!! How exciting!

It was Megan's turn to see which song Pandora chose for us this week...Sara Barielles - "Gonna Get Over You" is what she got!

I love what Megan went for...The whole, "Letting go of Love" theme. It sends such a deep message. The handwritten words, rings, and crumbed paper really make you feel like you are there in the moment!

I went for a 'not so common' approach...a fence. Everyone knows we go through some hard things in life and you think, "I'm just not going to get over it this time." - Break-ups especially....but if you throw your heart over the fence, the rest will follow!

Thanks for joining us during Week 2! Make sure to comment below letting us know what you think of this weeks project! We love the feedback!

Snap Happy!
